Guidelines
Student should gather and read relevant sources about optimal viewpoint computation for 3D scenes. Main goal of the thesis is to implement a couple of algorithms inspired by literature and assess them in a simple experimental application. Reasonable discussion of achieved results should be part of the thesis as well. If applicable, student could think about further improvements and at least discuss them in the text.

Experimental software should be able to import common 3D formats and view them using GPU acceleration. Utilization of some popular 3D library is recommended, for example OpenSceneGraph (see references).

Software ought to be well documented (both user and internal documentation). Emphasis should be placed on thorough description of used algorithms (including math, i.e. formulas) and data structures.
