Guidelines
Uchazeč(ka) prodiskutuje výhody a nevýhody použití t-testu a lineární regrese na nenormální data a porovná je s vybranými alternativními metodami (bootstrap, Wilcoxonův test, robustní regrese). Práce bude obsahovat simulační studii a/nebo příklad analýzy reálných dat.

Preliminary scope of work in English
The student will discuss advantages and pitfalls of applications of the t-test and linear regression to non-normal data and will compare them with alternative methods (bootstrap, Wilcoxon test, robust regression). The thesis will include a simulation study and/or examples or real data analyses.
