Guidelines |
Teoretická část - nastudování literatury týkající se určování tvaru a rotačního
stavu planetek metodou inverze světelných křivek. Aplikace této metody na vhodnou planetku. Praktická část - pořízení několika světelných křivek vybrané planetky (pomocí 65-cm dalekohledu v Ondřejově), kombinace těchto nových měření se staršími daty, odvození tvaru a rotačního stavu planetky. |

Preliminary scope of work |
Cílem práce je vybrat vhodnou planetku s dostatečným množsvím archivních fotometrických dat, provést její fotometrická měření universitním dalekohledem v Ondřejově, a odvodit fzyikální model. Nezbytným předpokladem úspěchu je osvojení si metody inverze světelných křivek. |
Preliminary scope of work in English |
The lightcurve inversion method enables us to derive asteroid shapes from their lightcurves observed during
several apparitions. This method has been applied to about one hundred targets so far. There are tens of other asteroids such, that only a few additional observations from a next opposition would be sufficient for an unambiguous shape determination. The aim of this work is to select an asteroid with sufficient amount of archive photometric data, to carry out new photometric observations of this asteroid by means of the university telescope in Ondřejov, and to derive its physical model. Good understanding of the lightcurve inversion method will be inevitable. |
