Guidelines

Investigate the issues related to locating a performance regression in the source code of the system under test based on the results of profiling. Consider the profiling support available in contemporary development environments and operating systems and, if necessary, propose extensions to the profiling support. Design a platform independent framework for locating performance regressions and test the framework within the scope of the regression benchmarking project on MONO and CORBA implementations.
