Antrachinony představují významnou skupinu sekundárních metabolitů lišejníků, které se vyznačují výraznou pigmentací. Obvykle jsou syntetizovány v kůře stélky nebo v hyméniu plodnic. Jejich výskyt je pravděpodobně spojen s evolucí a rozšířením některých významných taxonomických skupin lišejníků. Cílem bakalářské práce je shrnout dostupné poznatky o diverzitě antrachinonů, jejich biosyntéze, výskytu v různých taxonomických skupinách lišejníků a jejich biologické funkci. Na bakalářskou práci bude možné navázat diplomovou prací.
Preliminary scope of work in English
Anthraquinones represent an important group of secondary metabolites in lichens, characterized by their vivid pigmentation. They are typically synthesized in the cortex of the thallus or in the hymenium of fruiting bodies. Their occurrence is likely associated with the evolution and expansion of several major taxonomic groups of lichens. The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to summarize current knowledge on the diversity of anthraquinones, their biosynthesis, occurrence across different lichen taxonomic groups, and their biological functions.
