Preliminary scope of work

Ve své bakalářské práci se budu zabývat tématem anglicismů ve sportu. Nejprve vysvětlím pojem anglicismy, poté napíšu o typech anglicismů a také o historii anglicismů. Následně se budu věnovat samotnému sportu, konkrétně fotbalu a lednímu hokeji. Budu psát o tom, co to vlastně sportovní jazyk je, jaký význam mají anglicismy ve sportu, odkud pocházejí, jaké mají výhody a kde jsou kritizovány. V praktické části sestavím slovník fotbalových anglických výrazů a porovnám jejich komentování ve fotbale a ledním hokeji.

Preliminary scope of work in English

In my bachelor's thesis, I will deal with the topic of Anglicisms in sport. Firstly, I will explain the concept of Anglicisms, then I will write about the types of Anglicisms and also about the history of Anglicisms. Then I will look at sport itself, specifically football and ice hockey. I will write about what sports language actually is, the importance of anglicisms in sport, where they come from, what advantages they have and where they are criticized. In the practical part, I will create a dictionary of football English terms and compare commentaries in football and ice hockey.
