The goal of this thesis is to design and implement a 3D combat game in a medieval setting. In the game, the player needs to defend themselves against a horde of enemies coming in waves. As the game progresses the waves of enemies will be harder to tackle. Should a player survive a round, they will be rewarded with gold that can be used to purchase equipment, such as a better weapon or various armor to wear; or to hire mercenaries to fight alongside them. It's up to the player to decide if they want to wear a heavy armor that provides better protection against incoming damage at the cost of movement speed; or to wear lighter armor to remain quick on their feet. The implementation of the game will include a 4-directional combat system (i.e. being able to attack and defend from four directions).
