Pro sledování vývoje leishmanií (Kinetoplastida: Trypanosomatidae) ve zvířecích modelech je používáno mnoho odlišných metodických přístupů. Kromě genetického a imunologického pozadí hostitele a druhu a virulence parazita ovlivní proto výsledek pokusu jeho metodické uspořádání, například velikost infekční dávky nebo místo inokulace. Cílem této práce bude na základě literární rešerše shrnout takové důležité metodické faktory a jejich vliv na výsledek pokusu u různých druhů leishmanií i hostitelů.
Preliminary scope of work in English
Many different methodological approaches have been used to study the development of Leishmania parasites (Kinetoplastida: Trypanosomatidae) in animal models. Thus, the outcome of an experiment is influenced not only by the genetic and immunological background of the host and the species and virulence of the parasite, but also by the experimental design, such as the size of the infective dose or the site of inoculation. The aim of this bachelor thesis will be to summarize these important methodological factors and their influence on the outcome of the experiment in different leishmania species and their hosts based on a literature search.
