Cílem práce je pohledem zevnitř zkoumat komunitu hráčů hry Animal Crossing: New Horizons, jejich motivace k hraní této hry a způsoby, kterými jim hra poskytovala únik z reality pandemie. Dále se práce bude částečně zaměřovat i na mediální reflexi fenoménu.
Preliminary scope of work in English
This thesis aims to examine, from an insider's perspective, the community of players of the game Animal Crossing: New Horizons, their motivations for playing the game, and how the game provided them with an escape from the reality of the pandemic. In addition, the thesis will partly focus on the media's reflection on the phenomenon.
