Preliminary scope of work

Metoda syntézy pomocí vakuovaných křemenných ampulí je ideální pro získání chemicky čistých analogů minerálů. Cílem této diplomové práce je seznámit se s touto metodou a následně připravit vybrané sulfidy/sulfoarsenidy. Produkty syntézy budou charakterizovány pomocí různých mineralogických metod (optická mikroskopie, XRD, FEG-SEM/EDS, Ramanova spektroskopie). Experimentální práce budou probíhat v Laboratoři experimentální mineralogie na České geologické službě.

Preliminary scope of work in English

The vacuum quartz vial synthesis method is ideal for obtaining chemically pure mineral analogues. The aim of this thesis is to become familiar with this method and subsequently prepare selected sulphides/sulfoarsenides. The synthesis products will be characterized by different mineralogical methods (optical microscopy, XRD, FEG-SEM/EDS, Raman spectroscopy). Experimental work will be carried out in the Laboratory of Experimental Mineralogy at the Czech Geological Survey.
