Research on learning and teaching planar geometry at secondary schools and comparison of school curricula in different countries (primarily the Czech Republic and Russia). The comparison of the difficulty/types/topics of school geometry in different countries, measuring students’ understanding of specific topics (statistical research), analyzing the textbooks and materials used by teachers, the suggestion of methods for teaching and tasks for testing students – new materials, new tests.
