Lidské papilomaviry (HPV) jsou malé DNA viry, které jsou etiologicky spojené s řadou malignit v anogenitální oblasti u žen i mužů. Současně jsou tyto viry odpovědné za vznik části nádorů hlavy a krku. Virový genom je v nádorové tkáni přítomen v extrachromozomální a/nebo integrované formě. Integrace virového genomu do lidského chromozomu je jedním z významných faktorů virově řízené neoplastické progrese a nastává v časných fázích tumorigeneze. Příčiny virové integrace však nejsou zcela objasněny. Cílem této práce je popsat dosud známé mechanismy integrace genomu HPV a případně faktory, které ji ovlivňují.
Preliminary scope of work in English
Human papillomaviruses (HPV) are small DNA viruses that are etiologically linked to plenty of anogenital malignancies in both females and males. These viruses can cause part of head and neck carcinomas too. Viral genome is present in extrachromosomal and/or integrated form in tumour tissue. The viral genome integration into human chromosome is one of the important factors of HPV driven neoplastic progression which occurs in the early stages of tumorigenesis. But the causes of viral integration are poorly understood. The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe the known mechanisms of HPV genome integration and potential factors that influence it.
