Preliminary scope of work

Cílem této diplomové práce je přiblížit čtenáři azylovou politiku Křesťansko-sociální strany (CSU) v období dvou migračních krizí, tedy v letech 1990-1993 a 2015-2017. Linie azylové politiky CSU se zdála být dlouhou dobu poměrně neměnná. Od roku 2013 si však německá média začala všímat přívětivějšího tónu ve vztahu k uprchlíkům, zejména s ohledem na výroky nové bavorské ministryně sociálních věcí Emilie Müller. Práce se z toho důvodu bude snažit porovnat azylovou politiku CSU v době migračních krizí a zjistit, zda se změna přístupu k otázkám azylu propsala do oficiálních stanovisek strany a stranického periodika Bayernkurier, nebo šlo jen o odchylku jinak konzistentní azylové politiky CSU.

Preliminary scope of work in English

The diploma thesis deals with the asylum policy of the Christian Social Union in Bavaria (CSU) in the period of two migration crises, i.e., in 1990-1993 and 2015-2017. The CSU's asylum policy seemed relatively unchanged for a long time. However, from 2013 the German media began to notice a more welcoming tone in relation to refugees, especially with regard to the statements of the new Bavarian Minister of Social Affairs, Emilia Müller. Therefore, the work will compare the asylum policy of the CSU in times of migration crises and find out whether the change in approach to asylum issues was reflected in the official opinions of the party and party periodical Bayernkurier, or it was just a deflection of otherwise consistent asylum policy CSU.
