Preliminary scope of work
Motolice jsou paraziti ovlivňující svého hostitele prostřednictvím řady biologicky aktivních látek. Předmětem bakalářské práce bude literární rešerše sumarizující nízkomolekulární látky vybraných modelových motolic (zejména Schistosoma, Fasciola, Opisthorchis). Práce poskytne přehled látek produkovaných nebo modifikovaných těmito organismy za účelem modulace hostitele. Práce se bude zabývat látkami s prokázaným i hypotetickým modulačním účinkem. Součástí práce bude nad rámec kritické souhrnné rešerše také perspektiva současného výzkumu v této oblasti a předpokládaný vývoj v blízké budoucnosti.
Preliminary scope of work in English
Trematodes are parasites affecting their hosts through a wide range of biologically active compounds. The bachelor thesis will represent the current state of knowledge summarizing low-molecular-weight compounds of selected model trematodes (particularly Schistosoma, Fasciola, Opisthorchis). The thesis will give an overview of compounds produced or modified by these organisms to modulate the host. The thesis will include compounds with proven as well as hypothetical modulatory effect. Apart from a critical review, I will also include the perspective of the current research in this area and the expected progress in the near future.
