Preliminary scope of work
Práce bude shrnovat dnešní poznatky o roli agrekanu, jakožto chondroitin sulfát proteoglykanu z rodiny Lektikanů, v rámci perineuronálních sítí. Především se bude zabývat možným efektem modelů lokálních či globálních změn v produkci agrekanu, změnám během stárnutí a patologických stavů CNS jako jsou poranění mozku čí míchy.
Preliminary scope of work in English
The thesis is summarising known facts about the role of Aggrecan as a chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan member of Lecticans family in the Perineuronal nets. In detail, the possible effect of local or global aggrecan knockouts on memory and learning and homeostatic plasticity. The changes in presence of aggrecan in PNNs during aging, and pathological states such as traumatic brain injury/ Spinal cord injury and neurodegenerative diseases.
