Preliminary scope of work

Bakalářská práce se zabývá epidurální analgezií a jejím vlivem na průběh I. a II. doby porodní. První část, teoretická, popisuje principy epidurální analgezie, včetně jejího složení, indikace i kontraindikace k podání, způsobu aplikace a vlivu na matku i plod. Práce se dále zaměřuje na porodnickou bolest, jakožto bolest fyziologickou, která se liší v jednotlivých dobách porodních. Druhá část, praktická, shrnuje výsledky výzkumu, jehož hodnoty jsou znázorněny grafy a tabulkami.

Preliminary scope of work in English

This bachelor’s thesis deals with epidural analgesia and investigates its effects on the course of the first and second stages of labour. The first part, theoretical one, describes the mechanisms of epidural analgesia including its components, application technique, discusses its indications as well as contraindications, and its possible effects on both mother and child. The thesis also deals with labour pain which is different in each stage of labour. The second part, practical one, summarizes the results of my research demonstrated by diagrams and tables.
