Preliminary scope of work

Práce se bude zabývat otázkou, zda humor a satira mohou být cestou k vyrovnání se s traumatem zážitku holocaustu a zda humor a satira jsou při zpracování tématu akceptovatelné, příp. za jakých podmínek. Při zodpovídání těchto otázek bude autorka práce vycházet z analýzy povídek T. Borowského a románu "Nácek & holič" E. Hilsenratha.

Preliminary scope of work in English

The thesis will focus on the question of whether humour and satire can create a way of reconciliation with the trauma in the aftermath of the holocaust experience and whether humour and satire are acceptable when dealing with such a topic, or under which conditions this may be the case. The author bases the answers to those questions on the analysis of the short stories by T. Borowski and the novel "The Nazi & the Barber" by E. Hilsenrath.
