Guidelines |

Preliminary scope of work |
I takto jednoduché modely mohou poskytnout velmi dobrou kvalitatvní i kvantitativní charakterizaci chování daného mechanického systému. Vynikající praktická upotřebitelnost těchto modelů pochopitelně vedla k vybudování obsáhlé teorie, a to zejména v kontextu modelování odezvy elastických pevných látek, viz například O’Reilly, O. M. (2017). |
Preliminary scope of work in English |
The lower dimensional models (beam, plate and shell models) are popular models in continuum mechanics since they are simple and easy to use compared to full three dimensional models, and yet they can provide good quantitative and qualitative characterisation of the given mechanical system of interest. The ease of use of the lower dimensional models attracted a considerable interest, and the corresponding theory is now well developed especially in the context of _elastic solids_, see for example O’Reilly, O. M. (2017). The aim of the thesis is to revisit the low dimensional models for the standard elastic solids, and investigate their modifications for elastic solids specified by the so-called implict consitutive relations, see Rajagopal, K. R. (2003). |
