| Více než deset let je Česká republika členem Evropské Unie. Závazné kroky k přijetí Eura se zdají být logickým postupem k hlubší integraci. Předmětem této studie budou dopady vstupu do Eurozony na bilaterální obchod. K analýze bude použita metodika gravitačního modelu, jenž disponuje vhodnými vlastnostmi k ohodnocení efektu Eura. Autor bude klást důraz na zamezení řady chyb, jež se objevily v nedávných studiích. Mezi ně patří: výskyt endogeneity, či výskyt chybějících měření obchodu. |
| Preliminary scope of work in English |
| Over a decade Czech Republic has been a member of European Union. Another step to further integration seems to be an adoption of Euro currency. This study sets a goal to analyse a possible
consequences of the Euro adoption on values of import and export. Gravity model equation will be taken as a main methodology and a sufficient tool of bilateral trade estimation. The author will try to avoid several mistakes common in recent studies among them: endogeneity bias, zero trade observations. |
