Záměrem práce bude postihnout psychologické reakce účastníků turismu na terorismus a související bezpečnostní hrozby. Jde o téma, kterému bylo věnováno již značné množství odborné literatury, současně však existuje celá řada "bílých míst", kterým dosavadní výzkum pozornost nevěnoval. Na některé z nich – jako je například úloha destinačních faktorů, pocitů a incidentů menšího rozsahu, zkoumání problematiky na lokální úrovni či v prostředí Česka – se disertační práce zaměří. Jedním ze zásadních nedostatků, který se práce pokusí odstranit, je absentující geografické zarámování dané problematiky.
Preliminary scope of work in English
The work will intend to explore tourism participants’ psychological responses to terrorism and related security threats. A considerable amount of scholarly literature has been devoted to the issue; however, there remain many gaps that have not been addressed by previous research. The dissertation will focus on some of them (e.g., the role of destination factors, feelings, and low-scale incidents, examining the issue locally or within the Czech environment). One of the major shortcomings the thesis aims to address is the absence of geographical framing of the issue.
