|Project Inthouse is a solution for IoT device control from mobile and desktop devices with well-developed GUI. Inthouse currently supports control of only a small range of devices using mainly Ethernet and Bluetooth connections.
There exist many different protocols used for communication between devices and providing features such as a very simple interface or low power consumption.
These protocols are commonly used today because of low price and wide device range support.
The aim of this thesis is to implement selected protocols into the Inthouse solution, provide an open API for integration and compare their potential for use in IoT systems in terms of cost, speed, flexibility, data and power consumption and other metrics.
