Guidelines

V této práci bych se rád zaměřil na podobu a proměnu Orfeova mýtu od nejstarších dob po helénismus. Po shrnutí stavu bádání se pokusím analyzovat postavu mýtického pěvce Orfea s jeho zvláštními schopnostmi, nešťastnou lásku k nymfě Eurydice a strastiplný sestupu do podsvětní říše, jeho strašlivou smrt i jeho posmrtný osud a to, jak se jeho příběh proměňoval během dlouhé doby, kdy byl tradován. Důležitý bude i jeho vztah k typologicky podobným postavám archaické doby a to, jak se celý mýtus odrazil v představách kulturně Řekům nejbližších národů - Římanů a Etrusků. Opírat se budu nejenom o rozličné písmenné prameny, ale rovněž i o bohatý epigrafický a ikonografický materiál. Výsledkem by měla být komplexní studie pojednávající o jedné z nejzajímavějších a strukturálně nejbohatších postav řeckého náboženství a mythologie.
