Cílem mé práce bylo hodnocení schopnosti kontrastní ultrasonografie (CEUS) detekovat reziduum či recidivu v terénu změn po radiofrekvenční ablaci (RFA) nádorů jater. Srovnávala jsem výsledky CEUS s výpočetní tomografií (CT), které je v současnosti nejčastěji používanou metodou ke sledování po RFA. Na základě výsledků této práce, kdy se senzitivita CEUS blíží senzitivě CT, byl na našem pracovišti CEUS zaveden jako standardní součást sledování po RFA.
Preliminary scope of work in English
The aim of my work was to evaluate the ability of contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) to detect a residual tumor or tumor recurrence in the field of changes after radiofrequency ablation (RFA). I compared the results of CEUS with computed tomography (CT). CT is the most commonly used method for monitoring the effect of RFA. Based on the results of this work, when CEUS sensitivity reaches CT sensitivity, the CEUS was added as a standard part of monitoring after the RFA procedure in our department.
