Beta-adrenergní systém je jedním ze základních informačních systémů mozku, který rozpoznává signály přicházející ve formě katecholaminů noradrenalinu nebo adrenalinu. Úkolem této práce bude charakterizovat základní komponenty tohoto systému, včetně beta-adrenergních receptorů, příslušných regulačních G proteinů a efektorových molekul. Pozornost bude věnována také popisu tohoto systému z hlediska jeho lokalizace v mozkových strukturách a poruchám funkce tohoto systému v patologických situacích.
Preliminary scope of work in English
Beta-adrenergic system is one of the basic information systems in the brain, whcih recognizes the catecholamines noradrenaline or adrenalinu. The aim of this thesisi willl be to characterize basic components od this system, including beta-adrenergic receptors, their cognate regulatory G proteins and effector molecules. Attention will be also paid to the distribution of this system in different brain structures and to dysfunction of this system under pathological situations.
