| Práce si klade za cíl zmapovat historii finské metody studia folklorního materiálu, její kritiku a pozitiva a zároveň upozornit na možnosti jejího současného využití. Druhá část práce se věnuje typologické klasifikaci folklorní prózy spolu s přehledem katalogů do roku 1928. Diskutováno je i dílo finské folkloristky Satu Apo věnované analýze folklorní prózy. |
