Preliminary scope of work

Předložená bakalářská práce má název: Srovnání výsledků péče McKenzie metody s SM systémem u výhřezu meziobratlové ploténky bederní páteře. Výhřez meziobratlové ploténky bederní páteře patří mezi nejčastější degenerativní změny na páteři. Pacientů s tímto typem diagnózy dosud přibývá, zatímco věková hranice se stále snižuje. Zaměřila jsem se tedy na metody, kterými lze vzniklý výhřez efektivně léčit.
Tato práce je rozdělena do tří částí. Obecná část obsahuje anatomii páteře, strukturu a funkci meziobratlové ploténky. Dále predisponující faktory, typy a stádia výhřezu. Teoretická část zahrnuje popsání jednotlivých metod. Charakteristiku, vysvětlení pojmů týkajících se metod, technik, principů a pomůcek využitelných při terapii. V praktické části jsou zhodnoceny dotazníky vyplněné fyzioterapeuty, na podkladě jejich zkušeností s metodami. Hlavním cílem práce bylo zmapovat spokojenost fyzioterapeutů se zmíněnými metodami a jejich výsledky v léčbě u pacientů s výhřezem disku. Dále jsem chtěla zjistit, jak často metody využívají v terapii a jak se jim s nimi pracuje. Jaká je účinnost metod a časový horizont zlepšení až odeznění symptomů. Dle zjištěných výsledků jsem zhotovila přehledné grafy, ve kterých je uvedena četnost odpovědí na jednotlivé otázky z dotazníku.

Preliminary scope of work in English

The title of the thesis is Comparison of treatment results of the McKenzie method and the SM system method in lumbar disc herniations. A lumbar disc herniation is one of the most frequent degenerative changes in the spine. I focused to methods which can treat prolapse efficiently.
This thesis is divided into three parts. The general part contains the spine anatomy, the stucture and function of intervertebral disc and also predisponing factors, stages and types of herniations. The theoretical part includes described methods. There is specification of basic terms, techniques, principles and utilities which are used for these therapies. In the practical part there are evaluations of survey which was completed by several physiotherapists who had their own experiences with those two methods. The main purpose of the practical part was to find out how physiotherapists are satisfied with methods and results of their treatment. Also I wanted to find out how often the methods are used in therapy and how physiotherapists work with them, what is the efficiency of methods and time horizon to improvement and subsiding symptoms. I made graphs with identified results which report answers to individual questions.
