Preliminary scope of work
Preliminary scope of work in English
The thesis will deal with the future of the concept of Responsibility to Protect (R2P) and will focus on prospects of the concept after conflicts in Lybia and Syria. The thesis will examine the first aplication of the concept in Libya in 2011 and reasons why it was not apllied in similar context in Syria. It will also deal with the subsequent debate which was held on the international stage after experience with these conflicts and analyse proposals which were brought into this debate focusing on how to move the concept forward or modify it.
