| Práce se bude zabývat srovnáním dvou příkladů antoninského limitu, Antoninova valu a Odenwaldského limitu. Porovnávány budou jednotlivé prvky systému Limes Romanus na obou hraničních zónách s ohledem na jejich strategický a vojensko-správní smysl, vzájemnou personální provázanost a podobný stupeň dochování. Cílem práce je na dvou konkrétních příkladech ukázat společné prvky zasazení limitu v kontextu dřívější krajiny a osídlení, a tím poodhalit, co mohlo být pro stavitele a plánovače systému Limes Romanus zásadní, když dané monumenty budovali. |
