| Preliminary scope of work in English |
| This Bc. thesis will consist of three parts: (1) a brief theoretical introduction, (2) a Czech translation of several representative chapters chapter of the novel Distant Star and (3) a stylistic analysis of the translation which will also seek to clarify the choice of lexis and target language register for the direct-speech passages. |
