Preliminary scope of work

Práce bude zaměřena na problematiku využití měření magnetické susceptibility při archeologické prospekci a bude sestávat ze dvou provázaných částí. Jádrem první části bude rešerše zahrnující základní teoretické i praktické poznatky o měření magnetické susceptibility s důrazem na terénní prospekci a na uplatnění této metody v oblasti archeologických výzkumů. Tématem druhé části bude plošný geofyzikální průzkum segmentu středověké archeologické lokality, realizovaný s využitím měření magnetické susceptibility a dalších vybraných geofyzikálních metod. Náplň této části zahrne terénní měření, zpracování dat a komplexní interpretaci výsledků v kontextu se všemi dalšími dostupnými informacemi (geologie, petrofyzika, historie, archeologie a další).

Preliminary scope of work in English

The work will focuson the use ofmagneticsusceptibilitymeasurement in archaeologicalprospection and will consistof twointerconnectedparts.The core ofthe first one will be the backgroundresearchincluding basictheoreticaland practical knowledge ofmagneticsusceptibility measurement, with an emphasison fieldprospectingandtheapplication of this methodin archaeologicalresearch.The theme of the second part will comprise the areal geophysical survey of the segment of the mediaeval archaeological locality realized by means of magnetic susceptibility measurement and other selected geophysical methods. The contents of this part will include the field measurement, data processing and complex interpretation of the results in connection with all other available information (geology, petrophysics, history, archaeology and others).
