Tato bakalářská práce se bude zabývat mediálním obrazem nepokojů na severu Čech v roce 2011 ve vybraných médiích: nejčtenější seriózní deník Mladá fronta DNES, bulvární deník Blesk a zároveň nejčtenější deník v ČR, a server Romea.cz, jenž se zaměřuje na romskou menšinu. Prostřednictvím kvalitativní analýzy vybraných médií zjistím, jak média o událostech referovala a zda se dopouštěla stereotypů o romské menšině. Následně bude vybráno několik problematických způsobů referování o nepokojích, které se ve sledovaných médiích objevovaly. Způsoby referování jednotlivých médií o nepokojích pak budou srovnány.
Preliminary scope of work in English
This bachelor thesis will deal with the media portrayal of the 2011 riots in the north of Bohemia in selected media: the most read serious newspaper Mladá fronta DNES, the tabloid newspaper Blesk, which is at the same time the most read daily in the Czech Republic, and the news website Romea.cz, which is focused on the Roma minority. Qualitative study of the selected media will analyse how the media referred to the riots and whether there were some stereotypes about Roma in the articles. Subsequently, several problematic ways of referring to the riots will be identified within the analyzed media. The ways of writing about the riots by the selected media will be compared.
