Preliminary scope of work in English
The aim of the thesis is to explore various use of symbolism in the works of William Golding. The main attention is aimed at 3 novels written in different periods of the author’s life (Pincher Martin, The Spire and The Double Tongue) to discover influences and sources of inspiration behind Golding’s works. The specific topics and examples will be discussed in a practical part of the work.
