Předkládaná bakalářská práce se zabývá průběhem a výsledky peacekeepingových operací OSN na území Středoafrické republiky. Výzkumným cílem je stanovení, zda mise byla či nebyla úspěšná a jaké faktory za tímto výsledkem stály. Výchozí hypotézou je konstatování, že operace úspěšná nebyla, protože došlo k obnovení bojů na území Středoafrické republiky. Tento případ je pak komparován se dvěma jinými zeměmi subsaharské Afriky - Angolou a Sierrou Leone. Tyto dvě země byly vybrány na základě podobných charakteristik, jež sdílí se Středoafrickou republiko.
Preliminary scope of work in English
This bachelor thesis deals with the peacekeeping missions UN in the Central African republic. The aim of this thesis is determination, if the mission was or was not successful and which factors affected the outcome. The initial hypothesis is, that the mission was not successful, because the violent conflict was renewed. This case of peacekeeping mission is compared to two countries of the subsaharan Africa - Sierra Leone and Angola. These countries were choosen due to the similar characteristics shared with the Central African Republic.
