| Tato práce stručně představuje kulturu starých i novodobých Keltů v hudbě. Nezabývá se detailním zpracováním hudební historie keltských regionů, měla by spíše shrnout informace potřebné jednak alespoň k částečnému porozumění této hudbě, a jednak k shrnutí jakýchsi záchytných bodů, podle kterých je možné vyhledávat a studovat informace o této problematice více do hloubky. Práce může sloužit jako vodítko pedagogům k tomu, jak obohatit svojí výuku a pokusit se vštěpit studentům povědomí o tomto fenoménu, a jiným hudebníkům k tomu, jak zahrnout tuto součást evropského kulturního fondu do svojí hudební praxe, ať už interpretací keltských písní, tanců či klasických skladeb, které v této kultuře vznikly, nebo se jí inspirovaly, nebo aranžováním či kompozicí vlastních přínosů do tohoto „Jiného světa“ hudby.
Práce je rozdělena do tří teoretických částí: V první části se zabývá úvodem do problematiky, podává stručné informace o keltském etniku, které se ve starověku vyvíjelo na evropském kontinentu a jeho rozdělení podle regionů a jazyků, podává také přehled výslovností jednotlivých jazyků, která je potřebná k interpretaci hudby psané v těchto jazycích. Druhá část shrnuje nejdůležitější zachované mýty starých Keltů, které obsahují zmínky o hudebních nástrojích, hudbě jako takové a významu, jaký měla pro Kelty. Třetí část se zabývá hudbou moderních Keltů z historického a praktického hlediska, především se soustřeďuje na informace o vyjadřovacích prostředcích hudby – o hudebních nástrojích, speciálních stupnicích a modech, typických rytmických a melodických figurách a o nejdůležitějších dohledatelných osobnostech klasické hudby, která vznikala v daných regionech. V závěru této části také shrnuje informace o nejdůležitějších hudebních skupinách a interpretech dnešní moderní keltské folkové, lidové a tradiční hudby a interpretech této hudby v České republice. |
| Preliminary scope of work in English |
| This bachelor’s thesis briefly introduces the culture of ancient and modern Celts in music. It does not deal with a detailed historical background of particular Celtic regions, it is rather to summarize information vital to basic understanding of the music and to introduce certain important point by which one can search and study the topic more deeply. The work can be used by the teachers to enhance their tuition and try to evoke a little knowledge about these phenomena in their pupils; and by other musicians in order to be able to use this fund of European cultural heritage in their musical practice, either by interpretation of Celtic songs, dances or classical pieces of music that were created in the particular regions or were inspired by Celtic culture, or to arrange or compose own pieces inspired by this “otherworld” of Celtic music.
The thesis is divided into three theoretical parts. The first part introduces the reader into the basic facts about ancient Celts, how this ethnical group evolved and spread across the European continent and how it is divided according to regions and local languages. It also gives basic idea of pronunciation to each of those single languages. The second part summarizes the most important stories of Celtic mythology in which there is a mention of musical instruments, music itself and what it meant to ancient Celts. The third part deals with the music of modern Celts from the historical and practical point of view. It focuses on the information about the means of expression – musical instruments, special scales and modes, typical rhythmical and melodic figures and the most important known persons of the classical music, which was recorded in the given regions. At the end of this part, there are several important musical groups of modern folk and traditional Celtic music and several solo interprets mentioned and finally some of those who interpret this music in Czech Republic. |
