Cílem práce je charakterizovat proměny a trendy vývoje regionálního obrazu EU s využitím kartografických GIS prostředků na příkladu zemí v rozdílných fázích sociálně ekonomického vývoje.

The main goal is to desribe and analyse changes and trends in regional pattern and development of the European Union´s countries with the aid of GIS cartography means.
