Guidelines

Práce se zabývá římským námořním obchodem v dobách antického Říma. Na základě nálezů z podmořských vraků v oblasti Jaderského moře sleduje především předměty obchodu. Největší kapitola je proto věnovaná nákladu římských obchodních lodí, a její nejrozsáhlejší podkapitola se zabývá amforami. Další větší kapitoly pojednávají o způsobu stavby a velikosti římských obchodních lodí, dále o námořních trasách v regionu a problematice římských přístavů v dané oblasti. Poslední tři kapitoly se zabývají přínosem podmořské archeologie k současnému stavu bádání, metodami podmořské archeologie a historií podmořského archeologického výzkumu.
