Preliminary scope of work

Autor práce pojednává o interpretační problematice význačného klavírního díla středního rozsahu z pera jednoho z velikánů české hudby - Bedřicha Smetany. Uvádí informaci o osobnosti skladatele a jeho životě. Předmětnou kompozici rozebírá po formální stránce a zmiňuje se o ní i z hlediska dalších hudebně-teoretických disciplín. Nastiňuje možnosti v chápání této Smetanovy skladby jako celku, a také se z tohoto úhlu pohledu zabývá analýzou jednotlivých částí. Předkládá popis pracovních postupů určených interpretovi. Uvádí notové edice, v nichž skladba vyšla a neopomíná ani recenzentský pohled na některé nahrávky díla.

Preliminary scope of work in English

This bachelor thesis deals with an important piano piece by one of the greatest Czech composers, Bedřich Smetana. It contains information about the composer´s personality and life; it describes the concerned musical piece both from the formal point of view and from other theoretical perspectives. Possible ways of understanding this piece as a whole are described, as well as a thorough analysis of its individual parts. The thesis contains an elaborate characterization of methods of work for the performers of this musical piece; it lists the editions in which it was published and also presents some critics of its recordings.
