Preliminary scope of work
Tato práce se především věnuje problematice dětských vojáků a jejich ochraně na úrovni mezinárodních právních dokumentů a také na úrovni regionálních právních dokumentů, a to se zaměřením na africký kontinent. Jejím hlavním cílem bylo přiblížit africkou regionální úpravu českému prostředí a také porovnat jednotlivé kontrolní mechanismy, které se objevují na obou dvou úrovních. Na základě kontrolních mechanismů došlo k zhodnocení efektivity těchto právních úprav.
Preliminary scope of work in English
The main purpose of this thesis is to give a general overview of the problem of child soldiers and their protection among international law conventions and among regional law agreements with the focus on the African continent. The use of child soldiers in armed conflict is qualified as one of the worst forms of child labour.The majority of child soldiers are active in Africa and, to a lesser extent, in the Middle East and Asia.
