| Předkládaná bakalářská práce se zabývá tématikou backpackingu jako formy cestovního ruchu, vývojem jeho chápání a vlivu moderních informačních a komunikačních technologií na jeho provozování. Cílem práce je představit backpacking a možnosti využití informačních technologií české odborné veřejnosti. První, teoretická část se zabývá obecnými charakteristikami fenoménu backpackingu a vývojem jeho chápání v odborné literatuře. Pozornost je věnována i moderní formě backpackingu zvané flashpacking. Druhá část je zaměřena na jednotlivé aktivity a problémy, se kterými se backpacker na své cestě potýká a jejich názorné a praktické spojení s informačními technologiemi, především prostřednictvím mobilních zařízení. Součástí práce je i vlastní výzkum zaměřený na cestovatelské chování a využití informačních technologií v nezávislém cestování. I proto, že téma je nové a aktuální, samotný výzkum má především orientační charakter. I tak ale byly zjištěny zajímavé a někdy i překvapující závěry ze srovnání dvou socio-demograficky podobných skupin mladých nezávislých cestovatelů z České republiky a Spojených států amerických. |
| Preliminary scope of work in English |
| The bachelor theses is focused on backpacking as a form of tourism, development of its understanding and influence of modern information and communication technologies. The aim of the thesis is to introduce backpacking and possibilities of information technology use to the Czech professional public. The first theoretical part deals with general characteristics of the phenomenon of backpacking and the development of its understanding in the literature. Attention is also paid to the modern form of backpacking called flashpacking. The second part deals with various activities and problems that backpackers are faced on their journey and their practical connection with information technologies, especially through mobile devices, is presented. The thesis also includes author‘s own research on travel behavior and the use of information technologies in independent travel. Although the research is primarily orientational, the conclusions of a comparison of two socio-demographically similar groups of young independent travelers from Czechia and the United States were found interesting and sometimes surprising. |
