Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá chronickým onemocněním diabetes mellitus 1. typu. Jedná se o rešeršní práci s cílem definovat a objasnit jevy spojené především s průběhem, ale i se vznikem, prevencí a komplikacemi diabetu. Teoretická část práce je vypracována s pomocí studia odborné literatury a dalších zdrojů a má za úkol dopodrobna seznámit a shrnout současný stav poznání dané problematiky. Velká pozornost je zde věnována samotnému průběhu onemocnění, konkrétně pak možným vzniklým akutním i pozdním komplikacím a následně i jejich řešení. Důraz je zde také kladen na moderní, neustále se zdokonalující možnosti léčby a na význam selfmonitoringu. Z pedagogického hlediska je v práci zohledňována psychika diabetika, především z hlediska jeho začlenění do kolektivu. Závěr bakalářské práce poukazuje na to, že i nemocný s diabetes mellitus může žít plnohodnotný a dlouhověký život, pokud se řídí danými pravidly.
Preliminary scope of work in English
This thesis deals with chronic illness diabetes mellitus 1st type. It is a job search to define and clarify the phenomena associated primarily with the course, but also the formation, prevention and complications of diabetes. The theoretical part of the work developed through the study of literature and other sources, and is intended to familiarize in detail and summarize the current state of knowledge of the topic. Much attention is devoted to the course of the disease, namely the possible resulting acute and late complications and consequently their solutions. Emphasis is also asset to the modern, ever-improving treatment options and the importance of self-monitoring. From a pedagogical point of view is taken into account in the work of the psyche diabetic, specially in terms of integration into the community. Conclusion the work points out, that even sick with diabetes mellitus can live a full and long live, if they abide by the rules.
