Guidelines

Práce bude složena ze tří částí. První část se zaměří na dosavadní literaturu týkající se jazykové nerovnosti a jazykové diskriminace a vymezí hlavní proudy přemýšlení o této problematice. Druhá část bude z teoretického hlediska analyzovat stratifikaci češtiny ve vztahu ke společenské stratifikaci. Na základě této analýzy budou postulovány hypotézy, které budou ověřovány ve vlastním výzkumu, jenž bude předmětem třetí části práce. Výzkum bude využívat techniku spojitých masek.

Preliminary scope of work

Práce se zaměřuje na otázky jazykové nerovnosti, resp. jazykové diskriminace na území České republiky. Konkrétněji se zabývá vlivem ostravské a pražské regionální mluvy na postoje k mluvčímu na území Ostravy a Prahy. K výzkumu těchto problémů bude použita primárně tzv. technika spojitých masek.

Preliminary scope of work in English

This thesis is concerned with the issue of linguistic inequality, or linguistic discrimination, in the Czech republic. Particularly, the influence of the speech of two regions, Ostrava and Prague, on attitudes towards its speakers in Ostrava and in Prague is studied. The matched-guise technique is used for the purposes of this research.
