Cílem práce je prokázat, že rozdíl mezi veřejně deklarovanou a reálnou bezpečnostní a zahraniční politikou Slovenska zapříčinil vyřazení země z první vlny rozšíření NATO. Otázkou je, zda ovlivnily tuto situaci i vzájemné vztahy Slovenska s Ruskem. A nakolik ji ovlivnila osoba Vladimíra Mečiara na postu premiéra. Moje hypotéza je, že osoba Mečiara a vztahy s Ruskem v tom sehrály zásadní roli. Práce bude empirickou analýzou uvedeného problému.
Preliminary scope of work in English
The aim of the work is to demonstrate that the difference between publicly declared and real security and foreign policy of Slovakia caused the exclusion of the country from the first wave of NATO enlargement. Hypothesis of work supposed that Slovak-Russian relations under Prime Minister Vladimír Mečiar involved in this. The work through an empirical analysis of the problems will demonstrate that this is so.
