Preliminary scope of work

Specializovaná filmová kritika se ocitla - stejně jako filmově orientovaná periodika - na pokraji zániku. Ve své bakalářské práci chci na základě odborné literatury a kvalitativního rozboru konkrétních textů shrnout poznávací znaky a prostředky, určující současnou filmovou kritiku ve zvolených tištěných médiích (deník MF Dnes a časopisy Cinema, Cinepur a Film a doba) a popsat její alternativy v internetových obsazích. Na konkrétních příkladech se pak budu snažit dopátrat toho, nakolik tato kritika odpovídá definici kritiky a plní její funkce, jak jsou definovány v odborné literatuře.

Preliminary scope of work in English

Specilized film criticism has occured - as well as the serials oriented on film - in the deep crisis. In my thesis I want to use the specialized literature and a qualitative research of concrete texts in order to find some distinctive properties and tools that define the contemporary Czech film criticism in the chosen printed media (one daily - MF Dnes - and three specialized magazines - Cinema, Cinepur and Film a doba) and to describe its alternatives on the Internet. On the concrete examples I want to find out to what extent is this crticism in accord with its definition and its functions defined in the specialized literature.
