Guidelines

Student bude analyzovat působení Švédska v bezpečnostní sféře evropské integrace, přičemž bude vycházet z teorie zahraniční politiky států účastnících se integračních procesů, kterou zformuloval dánský politolog Nikolaj Petersen. Analýzou reakcí Švédska na iniciativy v rámci společné bezpečnostní politiky Evropské unie bude ověřovat platnost hlavních Petersenových hypotéz. Tyto hypotézy se týkají stupně závažnosti integračního dilematu u jednotlivých členských států, podoby adaptačních strategií uplatněných národními vládami k řešení integračního dilematu a také vztahu mezi hlavními styly zahraniční politiky a integračními procesy. V analytické části práce se student konkrétně zaměří na odpověď švédských politických představitelů na následující unijní iniciativy: návrhy na převzetí funkcí Západoevropské unie včetně zajišťování kolektivní obrany, návrh obecně platné klauzule vzájemné obrany ve Smlouvě zakládající ústavu pro Evropu, zahraniční vojenské operace Artemis a EUFOR Čad/SAR zaměřené na prosazování míru a koncept mnohonárodních bojových skupin Evropské unie.
