Práce má za úkol přinést ucelený přehled poznatků týkajících se mechanismu translační reiniciace, se zaměřením na specifické cis-acting mRNA elementy a jejich vazebné partnery, které jsou pro celý proces nezbytné. Jako příklad byl zvolen kvasinkový transkripční faktor GCN4, jehož genová exprese je přísně řízena právě reiniciačním mechanismem.
Preliminary scope of work in English
The goal is to review our current knowledge of the translation reinitiation mechanism with the special focus on cis-acting mRNA elements and their interacting partners that have been shown to play key roles in the entire process. As a typical example, the yeast transcritpion activator GCN4 has been chosen, the mRNA of which is a subject to a tight translational control via the reinitiation mechanism.
