Preliminary scope of work

Diplomová práce „Pošta pro tebe – reality TV a sociální motivace participantů“ se zaměřuje na sociální užití televize. Popisuje podrobně žánr reality TV, zmiňuje jeho krátkou historii vysílání a soustředí se na motivační prvky jednotlivých participantů pořadu Pošta pro tebe. Zkoumá vliv a účinek médií a vztah mediovaných obsahů ke společnosti a realitě. Za pomoci dotazníků a rozhovorů analyzuje diváckou základnu a zkoumá důvody návštěvy diváků v televizním studiu a důvody televizních diváků, proč pořad vyhledávají v televizním programu a sledují ho. Zkoumá důvěryhodnost pořadu a ptá se diváků, zda by se oni sami stali účastníky pořadu. Dále práce zachycuje diváckou sledovanost a oblíbenost v jednotlivých letech svého vysílání. V neposlední řadě popisuje tvorbu pořadu, jeho zákulisí.
Práce je členěna do 4 kapitol: Teoretický úvod práce (objasňuje pojmy, které jsou pro práci klíčové z hlediska tématu), Sledovanost (analyzuje žebříčky sledovanosti prvního kanálu České televize a demografickou skladbu publika), Zákulisí pořadu (popisuje průběh natáčení, role jednotlivých zúčastněných participantů, technické zázemí pořadu), Publikum (definuje, kdo je publikum a interpretuje dotazníky a rozhovory s publikem učiněné). Samozřejmostí je Úvod a Závěr práce. Na samotný konec jsou zařazeny fotografie z natáčení pořadu. Pro přiblížení současných moderátorů je zařazen rozhovor s Pošťákem Ondrou (Martinem Kavanem), stručný životopis Ester Janečkové a její Příběh, který sice nebyl odvysílán, avšak souvisí s příběhy, které jsou často v televizi k vidění.

Preliminary scope of work in English

The diploma thesis “Pošta pro Tebe - reality TV and social motivation of participants” focus on the use of social television. It describes in detail the reality TV genre, its brief history of broadcasting, focusing on the motivational elements of the program participants Pošta pro Tebe. It investigates the impact and effect of media and mediated relationship to the contents of a reality. It analysis the audience base, explores reasons for visiting the TV studio spectators, why people looking for this TV show and why they watch it by questionnaires, interviews. It’s looking for the credibility of the program and asking whether the audience would become program participants. Further, the work captures the audience ratings and popularity in each year of its broadcast. Finally, describes the creation of the show and behind the scenes.
The diploma thesis is divided into 4 chapters: Theoretical introduction thesis (clarifying the concepts that are crucial for the work related), Ratings (analyzing rating charts of the first channel of Czech Television and the demographic composition of the audience), Behind the Scenes program (described shooting of, the role of interested participants, technical background of the show), Audience (defines who is the audience and interpret the questionnaires and interviews made with the audience). Matter of course is that the thesis has oddments. The conclusion is enhanced by photos from the recording of the show and for some approach of anchormen. There is interview with Postman Ondřej (Martin Kavan), curriculum vitae of Ester Janečková and her Story, which wasn’t been shown in TV but it’s one of the stories which are openly communicated there.
