Preliminary scope of work

Náplní literární rešerše je diskutovat míru synchronizace líhnutí vajec v ptačích snůškách. Prvotním cílem je popsat rozdíly mezi taxonomickými či funkčními skupinami ptáků a shromáždit informace o mechanizmech, jakými je synchronizace líhnutí dosaženo. Cílem práce je také vytvoření přehledu evolučně-ekologických hypotéz vysvětlující adaptivní výhody synchronního či asynchronního líhnutí ptáků.

Preliminary scope of work in English

The literary review will discuss the hatching synchrony in avian clutches. The primary objective is to describe differences between avian taxons and functional groups and collect information about mechanisms by which birds synchronize the hatching process. The work should also provide an overview of evolutionary-ecological hypotheses explaning adaptive advantages of synchronous and asynchronous hatching in birds.
