Preliminary scope of work

Bakalářská práce „Olivenza: sporná oblast portugalsko-španělských vztahů“ pojednává o oblasti ležící na portugalsko-španělských hranicích, jejíž nadvláda je po staletí předmětem sporů. V první části se věnuje popisu vývoje situace od jejích počátků do pádů nedemokratických režimů v Portugalsku a ve Španělsku, dále jejich vývojem v rámci současných demokratických uskupení a v neposlední řadě současnou situací. Zabývá se otázkou, v čem přesně spočívá tento spor, proč se část místního obyvatelstva považuje za příslušníky portugalského národa, přestože žijí na území, které je součástí Španělského království, tedy jaké je přesně právní hledisko současné situace a jestli je tato otázka i v 21. století stále aktuální. Jedná se o jedno případovou studii s použitím metody rozboru procesu.

Preliminary scope of work in English

Diploma thesis „Olivenza: the disputed area of the Portuguese-Spanish relations”, is about lying to the Portuguese-Spanish border, whose domination is the subject of dispute for centuries. The first part describes developments since its inception in the fall of undemocratic regimes in Portugal and Spain, as well as their development under the current democratic groups and finally the current situation. It deals with the question, what exactly is the dispute of why the local population considers members of the Portuguese nation, despite living in a territory which is part of the Kingdom of Spain, that is exactly what the legal aspect of the current situation and whether this issue in the 21st century to date. This is intrinsic case studies using the analysis process and process tracing.
