Guidelines

Cílem práce je prozkoumání možností využití algirtmů genetického programování při určování podobnosti proteinových struktur. Jednou z důležitých součástí při určování strukturální podobnosti je zarovnání jednotlivých aminokyselin, na které je pak aplikována podobnostní míra. Práce by měla zkoumat možnosti aplikace genetických algoritmů na nalezení co nejlepšího párování aminokyselin. Vhodnost navrženého algoritmu pak bude ověřena na základě shody s manuální klasifikací proteinových struktur SCOP.
