| Predkládaná práce shrnuje problematiku taxonomie, biologie a aktuálního rozšírení zlatohlávkovitých brouku (Coleoptera: Scarabaeoidea: Cetoniinae) západního palearktu. Ze získaných údaju z literatury byl vytvoren prehledný souhrn 152 v této oblasti doložených taxonu na druhové úrovni. V práci je dále nastínen historický vývoj klimatu území v holocénu a s ním spojené základní fylogeografické jevy, jako je rozmístení glaciálních refugií a následné rekolonizacní trendy. Nekteré hypotézy jsou demonstrovány na výsledcích konkrétních studií zabývající se hmyzem (Insecta). Na základe získaných údaju se zdá, že rekolonizace západního palearktu zlatohlávkovitými brouky probehla obdobne jako u vetšiny rostlin a živocichu. Do soucasné doby ale nebyla problematika glaciálních refugií a následné rekolonizace Evropy u zlatohlávkovitých studována. |

| The presented thesis summarizes the problems of taxonomy, biology and the current distribution of flower-chafer beetles (Coleoptera: Scarabaeoidea: Cetoniinae) from western palearctic region. A wellarranged summary of 152 taxa documented in this zone at species level was created from obtained literature. The thesis also outlines the historical evolution of the climate in the Holocene and related basic phylogeographic phenomena, such as the distribution of glacial refuges and subsequent recolonisation trends. Some hypotheses are presented as results of specific studies dealing with insects (Insecta). Based on the available data, it appears that the recolonisation of western palearctic region by flower-chafer beetles after the last glaciar maximum occured in a pattern similar to that of to most plant and animal species. However comprehensive studies of postglacial recolonisation of the region by flower-chafer beetles are still unavailable. |
